Yamagata University's Center for Entrepreneurship Education and Research signed an agreement with Business Development Bank (BDB Bank), a government-affiliated bank in the Republic of Uzbekistan, to provide entrepreneurship education, and an online mentoring event for the project to train local mentors who will guide local small business owners was held today. The online mentoring event took place today.
The teams are tasked to study in depth the local/social issues that each team identified at the kick-off and to come up with solutions to these issues. The program is designed to help participants develop the skills and practical abilities needed to act as mentors, while also focusing on the importance of developing a concrete business plan. The participants were aware of the importance of these skills and worked hard to achieve these goals through serious discussions with their Japanese mentors, albeit in a remote environment, through a screen.
The relationship with the Japanese mentors gradually deepened, as well as the team's unity.
